This is an excellent book both for the experienced/pro sewer and "newbie" sewer.
The shipment was quick and the book condition was better than I expected.

I purchased this book on the recommendation of a Professor for class...and I am thrilled with it! The photos are fantastic of the bead work and it sparks so many different ideas and possibilities. I already knew basic beading techniques when I read this book, so I can't speak about learning from scratch using this book. However, if you would like to add one to your collection you won't be disappointed - especially with the patterns they provide! (You have to get them enlarged, probably at a print shop.) I think it is worth the price!

For me this book was very disappointing. The patterns are more for upscale evening wear. This is not what I was looking for.
This was a waste of money for me.

This was an interesting book -- with many patterns and techniques. The illustrations and instructions were clear and the photos were beautiful and plentiful. It is as the title implies, a book for beaded embroidery on clothing. I have to admit, I don't wear that kind of clothing and my beading is mostly on small wall quilts, but for someone who wants to fancy up a wedding gown, this is the book for you.

This is a excellent book for adding beads to just about ANYTHING! All the directions for these patterns are in the book - plus all the examples of the stitches. The entire alphabet, lots of flowers, a wedding section and even Christmas! Also, it has an extensive section on how to add beads to clothes. I love this book!
